BYU volleyball team suffers 1st loss of season (The Salt Lake Tribune)
LOS ANGELES - UCLA defeated Brigham Young 24-30, 30-22, 25-30, 30-26, 19-17 in men’s volleyball Saturday night to give the Cougars their first loss of the season. We played really tentative for long periods of time, BYU coach Tom Peterson said. We didn’t serve well and we couldn’t get them out of system and we weren’t in system as much as we needed to be.

LOS ANGELES - In its first road match of the season, the Brigham Young men’s volleyball team rallied for a 24-30, 30-26, 30-14, 30-24 victory over UCLA on Thursday at Pauley Pavillion. Ivan Perez led three Cougars (7-0, 5-0 Mountain Pacific Sports Federation) in double-digit kills with 21. Taylor Evans and Russell Holmes had 12 and 11 kills, respectively.
