BAHRAIN’S new national team Volleyball coach Aleksandar Senicic says Bahrain’s players have the potential and ability to do well in the Asian Games to be held in Doha from December 1 to 15. The 42-year-old Serbian, was appointed by the Bahrain Volleyball Association (BVA) in April with the task of preparing the national team for Asia’s biggest sports event of the year.

Courier sports staff The Russellville Junior High Whirlwind Volleyball Camp, for children in grades 6-9, is scheduled for June 26-30 at the RJHS Gym. The camp will take place from 8:30-11:30 a.m. each day. The cost is $50 for pre-registration or $57 at the door.
